Upcoming "Make and Take" Summer Workshops
Come join us for “Make and Take” workshops at Kathy’s Pumpkin Patch. All materials will be provided for each workshop. Door prizes will be given away, and light refreshments will also be served. You may sign up individually, or groups/clubs are also welcome. If you have a larger group that would like a custom-created workshop at a different time, just give us a call! Tuesday, July 13: Canning Workshop
6:00-8:00 p.m.
Have you heard other people talk about the "joy" of getting a jar of homemade canned veggies or fruit from their pantry? Always thought you'd like to try your hand at canning, but just didn't know how to get started? Then, this is the workshop for you! We'll start with the basic safety techniques, necessary equipment to have on hand, and can a batch of fresh green beans together. There will be lots of take home information for everyone, good conversation, and refreshments.

Thursday, July 15 Edgy Album Workshop

Join Celeste as she helps you find your creative “Edge”, at Kathy’s Pumpkin Patch. We are offering a 2 hour “Make and Take” workshop designing your own “Edgy” album. An Edgy album is made from durable heavy-weight chipboard with delightfully designed edges that add variety and distinction to each page. You will be able to choose from these themes—baby boy, older boy, baby girl, older girl, summer-time, and pets.
Materials that will be provided are:
- Edgy Album by Bo Bunny
- Heavy Patterned, Pre-cut Cardstock
- Adhesive
- Ribbon
- A Variety of Embellishments
Cost of the workshop is $25.00. All workshops have limited space, so sign up early. Workshop fee is payable upon registration. You may also choose your theme at that time. Additional theme kits and finished Edgy Albums are also available for purchase during the workshop. We will also create custom-themed albums for you by special order.
Thursday, July 22 Accordion Brag Book
6:00-8:00 p.m.

During this two hour workshop each participant will make their own accordion “Brag Book”. The accordion book is a fold out album made of heavyweight chip board that holds 10-14 photos. There will be several themes to choose from.
Materials that will be provided:
- Durable Chipboard Accordion Album
- Heavy Patterned, Pre-cut Cardstock
- Adhesive
- Variety of Embellishments

Are you interested in a clever, handmade, one of a kind “Gift Basket”? Let Celeste show you how easy it is to be creative in making your own altered designer paint can. Possible themes include:
Chocolate lovers—create a chocolate themed can and fill with favorite chocolates, and a chocolate scented candle
For a New Baby—create and fill with baby bath products, a rattle, and our exclusive accordion photo album
Create a Star War, Barbie, or Lego themed can and fill with appropriate toys
Materials that will be provided:

Come join us for an evening of basic bread making. We'll work with different types of dough and give you lots of special tips to make your bread really easy to make and great to taste! We'll have a tasting party featuring several of our favorite homemade breads and give you lots of recipes to take home.
